  • DAY ONE: OVERNIGHT JOHANNESBURG

Your Botswana safari will offer you loads of luxury, all the while maintaining the true essence of the breathtaking African bush. This is of course the way safaris are supposed to be experienced. Botswana Under Canvas is a ten night journey, and one that is custom-designed to explore Botswana's most amazing regions in true African style. Our tented accommodations throughout Botswana will provide the discerning traveller with the true essence of Africa in every imaginable detail. You will arrive in Johannesburg and then overnight at the InterContinental Airport Sun where you can start your incredible adventure.

  • DAY TWO TO FIVE: OKAVANGO DELTA

After this, you can discover the Okavango delta with three nights’ accommodation at the very stylish tented Kanana Camp Botswana. At Kanana, a loyal following of travellers has developed. There are many happy clients that have requested a Kanana experience every time they travel to Botswana. The Mokoro safari glides, as well as the motorboat experiences, unbelievable bird watching; delightful fishing and many other things to see and do are just a few of the water activities one can find here.

  • DAY FIVE TO EIGHT: MOREMI

It is time to explore the wonderful Moremi Game Reserve, and indulge in three nights of pure luxury in the tented Okuti Camp – this is one of the most famous camping safaris in Africa. It is a five-star camp that was totally rebuilt in 2007, and is very luxurious indeed. It is situated on the massive Moremi Game Reserve (measured in miles, not acres). This safari in Botswana is considered by many to have one of the finest game viewing options in the entire world, with a massive concentration of elephant herds.

  • DAY EIGHT TO ELEVEN: MAKGADIKGADI PANS

At the end of your journey, you will get to explore the Makgadikgadi Pans, and visit the unique Jack’s Camp, a luxurious and flawless accommodation. Children will love the meerkats. For other guests, quad bike safaris offer a unique and eco-friendly means of exploring this region. You will be located in a very remote part of the world, but still in a position of comfort at this lodge in Botswana.
